We offer a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
Your refund request is submitted within 14 calendar days of the original charge date; and
Zero credits have been consumed from the purchased plan or credit package; and
Your account is in good standing (no fraud, policy violations, chargeback abuse, or suspicious activity).
If approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method. Each billing cycle or purchase is evaluated independently against these conditions.
2 What Is Not Eligible for a Refund
Except where required by mandatory consumer protection law, refunds are not available if:

3 Credits, Usage & Expiration
Credits are consumed when you use Service features (e.g., generating articles, AI images).
Used credits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Unless your plan states otherwise, unused credits expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over.
Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for money or other services.
4 Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. When you cancel:
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
You will not be charged again unless you manually re-subscribe.
No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the current period, except as stated in Section 1 or required by law.
β οΈ Reminder: Trials never auto-convert to paid plans. You will only be billed if you manually choose to upgrade. This eliminates the most common "I forgot to cancel" billing disputes.
5 Billing Errors & Unauthorized Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount, or technical billing error) or that an unauthorized payment was made, contact us immediately at support@optidraft.com. We will investigate promptly and issue a correction or refund where appropriate.
6 Your Statutory Rights
This Refund Policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If local law grants you a right to a refund, cooling-off period, or other remedy that is broader than this policy, we will comply with those legal requirements.
7 Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact our support team before filing a chargeback β we can typically resolve billing issues faster than the formal dispute process. If a chargeback is initiated:
We may temporarily suspend your account access while investigating.
We will submit evidence to our payment provider in response to the dispute.
Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent account termination under our Terms of Service.
The email address associated with your OptiDraft account.
The transaction date, amount, and invoice or receipt ID.
A brief explanation of your request.
9 Refund Processing Time
If your refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your payment provider but typically take 5β10 business days to appear on your statement.
